Delete your TurboScanner account

Updated September 15, 2026

This page explains how to delete your TurboScanner account and the data associated with it. TurboScanner is an Android app published by Tvoidom Studio (LLC Ecoformers LLC). You do not need to have the app installed to make the request.

How to request deletion

If you signed in with Google

In the app: open Settings, tap Delete account, then Delete. Your account and the data linked to it are removed from our server when you confirm, and the app clears your lists, history, saved product photos and Recent scans on that phone.

By email: write to us from the Google address you signed in with. That is how we confirm the request is yours. One line is enough.

Email a deletion request

We confirm by reply and complete the deletion within 30 days. If you write from a different address, we will ask you to confirm that the account is yours first.

If you never signed in

Signing in is optional, and our server still keeps records for your device, such as your barcode lookups, names you typed for barcodes we did not recognize, and photos you reported. To have them removed, open Settings in the app and tap Delete my data: the app copies your device identifier and opens this page. Paste the identifier into an email to privacy@tvoidom.org. If the app is already uninstalled, describe your last purchase or trial instead and we will find the record.

Sharing product photos needs sign-in, so a device that never signed in has no shared photos on our server. Recent scans and any product photos you took are kept only on your phone: clear the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app, to remove them.

If you want to delete only your data

You can ask us to remove your data and keep the account itself: the diagnostic copies of your pictures, your problem reports, your session records, your barcode lookups and the names you typed for unknown barcodes, the product photos you shared, and the photos you reported. Say which of the two you want in the email. If you do not say, we delete the account and everything with it.

What gets deleted

What stays, and why

Cancel your subscription separately

Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription, because the subscription lives in Google Play, not in our app. Cancel it in Google Play → Subscriptions, otherwise it keeps renewing.

Cancel first, then request deletion. That way nothing is billed after your data is gone.

Just want to sign out?

If you only want to stop being signed in on this phone, open Settings in the app and tap Sign out. That keeps your account and your data. Use the request above if you want them removed.
